My day out at EK Collective

Sometimes, I get the urge to work beside others so today, I packed my bag and headed to EK Collective.

What a great space! It’s super easy to get to whether you’re driving or taking the bus. Just head through EK Shopping Centre, find Poundland, and go through the doors in front of you.

You’ll be welcomed by the lovely Fiona, and if you’re curious, they offer a free day pass so you can get a feel for the space and check out the meeting rooms (which are fab, by the way!). There are also flexible packages depending on what you need.

What I learned today:

I’m a home bird at heart. While it was great to explore a new space, I’ve worked hard to create a calm, productive home office and it truly feels like my sanctuary.

Did travelling help my productivity? Honestly, not today. Being stuck in traffic on a hot day wasn’t ideal. That said, it’s confirmed something for me online coworking is where I thrive. I’ll definitely be promoting more of my Momentum Mondays online coworking power hours moving forward!

EK Collective is a brilliant space, and I’ll absolutely be speaking to Fiona about hosting some of our future events there.
