Lanarkshire Boss Mums Network and Avondale Radio Collaboration

ree

I met with Nancy one of the directors of Avondale radio to discuss a collaboration which would benefit LBMN, the members and Avendale Radio which is a registered charity.

LBMN would be the sponsor of the show Women’s Work. Under the Umbrella of Lanarkshire Boss Mums Network Avendale Radio have offered our members a fantastic opportunity.

For an fee of £45 per annum, your business will be displayed on the shows business directory. A business directory page will be created which is specific to LBMN. This will display each business that signs up, with links to the network and each business.

Each business owner will be interviewed in depth for Women’s Work – the frequency of these interviews will be determined by the number of businesses that sign up, and any changes that the business would like to highlight.

Short soundbites can be added to a show as often as is practical to the show and the business. Interviews can be carried out in person or via zoom, at a time that is mutually agreed upon. Any special offers or promotions that you may have can be highlighted by the show presenter as and when they are notified to us.

Avondale Radio will produce a sponsor board to be displayed at all the events we attend e.g. Gala days, Strathaven Balloon Festival etc, and can display promotional material. Avondale Radio will also liaise with a local festival, happening in May to enable attendance of the signed-up businesses.

LBMN logo will also appear on all our Social Media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc relating to the Women’s Work show. There will be a specific social media advert, highlighting this collaboration with LBMN and it members.

Radio is a fantastic platform for mums in business for several reasons:

1. Cost-Effective Marketing

Local and community radio stations often offer affordable advertising options, making it an accessible way for mums in business to promote their products or services without a huge budget.

2. Reaches a Loyal Audience

Radio listeners tend to be loyal, tuning in regularly to their favorite stations. This gives businesses repeated exposure and helps build brand awareness over time.

3. Great for Storytelling

Unlike quick social media posts, radio allows business owners to share their stories in a more personal and engaging way, helping to connect with potential customers on a deeper level.

4. Flexible for Busy Mums

Radio interviews and advertisements can be pre-recorded or aired live without requiring constant online engagement, making it a great option for busy mums juggling business and family life.

5. Targets Local Customers

For mums running local businesses, radio is a great way to reach their community, attracting customers who are more likely to support businesses in their area.

6. Builds Credibility

Being featured on a radio show positions you as an expert in your field, helping to build trust and authority in your industry.

Would you be interested in exploring ways to get featured on local radio for your business?

I am looking for 10 local mums to work with initially ? If this is something you are interested in signing up for drop me an email at:
